Ideally, coffee should be stored as whole bean coffee because ground coffee loses its freshness and flavor quicker than whole bean coffee. Also, it’s important to store coffee beans in a vacuum container where it is free from heat, moisture, air and sunlight. Oxygen leads to oxidization, which results in the loss of aromas and essential oils, eventually leaving your coffee stale. Heat and moisture accelerate the process significantly, as does light, but to a lesser degree. To ensure that your coffee beans stay fresh, you need to do everything possible to guard against these 4 things.

The original Airscape® stainless steel coffee and food storage canister with a patented lid actively removes and locks out air to preserve and protect freshness and flavor. The inner lid presses all the air out as one pushes it down on the contents. Then, the top sealing lid further keeps the contents fresh by providing additional protection against external air from reaching the compacted ingredients. The great thing about a vacuum canister is that air is completely removed from the inside thus protecting the coffee beans completely from the effects of oxygen, moisture and sunlight.
